The 3rd Annual IAHA Golf Outing was a great success raising nearly $12,600 for the IAHA Scholarship Fund. This years’ golf outing was held at the Lincoln Greens Golf Club in conjunction with the IAHA Annual Meeting in Springfield. Thirteen teams sign up to play in support of the Scholarship Fund. This years’ first place team was from the Alexander County Housing Authority; James Wilson, David Hodges, Ron Upshaw and Mike Brey. The second place team was from the Alton Housing Authority; Andy Hightower, Larry Newquist, Sam Neal and Robert Fox.
I want to thank all of our golfers for participating, Lincoln Greens for hosting our event, and FEMA Food Services for providing a great lunch. I want to thank all our participants and extend a special thank you to our event and pin sponsors. The financial support we received from our golfers, sponsors and volunteers was vital to another successful event. Their generous support has once again enabled the IAHA to make a difference in the lives of our college bound clients.

Finally, I would like to thank IAHA President Kate Barton and the Executive Board for their support, IAHA Coordinator Debbie Smith and my Golf Committee; Treasurer Randy McGill, Peg Barkley, Anne Smith, Dave Wagner, Mike Niehaus, Andy Hightower, Dan Snodgrass and all our volunteers Regina Byots, Jennifer Evans, Leslie Gregory, and Ralph Burzynski for stuffing goodie bags, working the registration table, selling mulligan’s and raffle tickets, and driving the beverage cart.

Again, thanks to ALL for your help and support and we will see you again next year.

Fred Clinton, Chairman
Golf Committee
