IAHA Membership
The Illinois Association of Housing Authorities was founded to provide an open exchange of ideas among housing authorities and improve the standards of administering housing development programs.
The IAHA elects five officers. The Executive Committee consists of the five officers, the immediate past president, twelve elected directors and the presidents of the three regional housing authority councils.
An Annual Meeting is held to share new information with members on changes in housing programs. If your Illinois Housing Authority is not currently a member and you would like to join our association, please contact Debbie Smith for more information. Annual dues are $175.
An annual Maintenance/Management Clinic is held to provide maintenance and management staff with the most current developments in the upkeep and preservation of housing. Vendors are encouraged to participate in this clinic.
